Q: Is there a homeowners association in the subdivision of Saunders Point?
A: Yes, Saunders Point has homeowners association created at the time that the community was developed in 1949. The Saunders Point Citizens Association was assigned all rights reserved by the original developer of Saunders Point in the Restrictions of Record under a Master Deed dated March 5, 1975.

A: For just $20 annually you can be a part of the Association. When you join you can vote on important issues affecting our community at the bi-annual meetings in May and November.

Q: I would like to have some work done on my home. Are there any rules I should be aware of before I begin?
A: You need to consult the Restrictions of Record to see if your project violates any of the existing rules. Any plans regarding tree removal, fence construction, excavation, home additions, or new home construction needs to be submitted for prior approval from the SPCA Board.
Q: What is the Reserve Association Reserve Study and Funding?
A: A new state law requires a study to determine the replacement cost of community property. Read our summary of the requirements and review the completed study HERE. The law, House Bill 107, can be found HERE. A special community meeting regarding the new requirements was held on August 15, 2023.
